If you have not found something worth dying for then you are just existing and not living life. Someone once said the length of a man’s steps depends on what is chasing him or what he is chasing. A lot of people are just existing.
They just get up and see a new day, eat, drink, marry and that’s it. This to me is existence. Sometimes we have been with something similar to our coins and not exactly our coins. What I mean is this: how do you get humiliated or killed for stealing a pant or trouser in the market? Is that anything commensurate?
What is commitment or what does it really mean to be committed? It is a promise to do something or to behave in a particular way.
It is just few some days in the new year, but how many of us can proudly say they are still committed to standing their new year resolutions. So, in the end, it becomes the affair of blowing warm air. Now in saying that you should do it well, I mean that you are supposed to everything with your all.

All I can say is that you should it do well. This is because everything whether good or bad has a prize.
Let me ask you this question … are you happy with your present situation? What will it take you to come out of it or stay there? Imagine that your creator decides to bless all human beings depending on what he meets them doing at the moment.
That he will make them celebrities in whatever he meets them doing. What will you be celebrated for? I mean you reading this piece. Will he meet you saying Cameroon is hard, Africa is hard, this is that…God will have to bless you with complaints for life.
This should be a call to all lazybones.
The good book says it all that there is no food for a lazy man. You cannot live an ordinary life and expect extraordinary things to happen to you. Your mates spent time doing research, some doing businesses, some hustling in any way but you do just nothing because you have a certificate.
I want to tell this and frankly, you are fooling yourself.

I have been searching for jobs on and offline since I had my BSc in Economics under the Money, Banking and Finance Option to no avail. If you only you can have the chance to count the number emails I have sent and the number of motivational letters I have written, then you will understand. But I have not given up. What if I give up when it is my harvest season? In whatever thing you do, always know that your due season is near not far. This will keep you focused.
Life is a battle, be true to yourself and don’t try live another person’s life. This way, you will discover that there is something unique about you that makes expensive. Stop joining the multitude to say that school is a scam. This is a fat lie. Now there is also a difference between succeeding in life and succeeding in life through school. Getting an education is closely linked to getting knowledge and being intelligent. Education does not give wisdom; you need wisdom to succeed than education.
But do you know that you can what cannot make yourself succeed in life until you fight hard? The only sickening thing about life and education in Africa is that it is styled to get Africa underdeveloped. There are certain courses that we are not necessarily studying in school. They things we can read about on our own.
Get committed to a profitable activity. Whatever a human being is doing somewhere to survive is worth doing. You can make it more profitable by applying your education to it. Patching car tyres, for example, looks dirty because it is done by people who lack education but there are successful through it. If anyone can make it in a particular field it means you can too.
I supervised the building of the residence of Medical Doctor, I had another fresh and yet shocking experience. This man moved around and looked at the houses that had a particular thing he wanted in his. He would then ask the house who did the work. He would call them and allow them to make an estimate of how it could cost him to get the same thing in his house.
These architects be it carpenters, builders, electricians or plumbers would place their estimated costs. This was what sometimes the doctor used in giving out the contract. The price. But would you believe that there were times he gave the contract to good looking people with high costs than those who looked too hungry? It sounded it irrational but do you know that was the use of education.
There are people who are educated on just generalities about life. They can read and write, they can control and lead people. So these people look for architects and work with them.
When there is a job somewhere, they drive inexpensive cars to the site. Just their sight makes the man in charge to get goosebumps. Because cash will leave him. These rich looking guys don’t know how to saw a plank but here they are taking contracts of over a hundred million from real carpenters.

This is using education. School is not a scam. Use your knowledge well. No government has ever employed everyone. There is a need for people to stop thinking if you fail to have a government-paid job after getting degrees, then education is a scam.
While I was assisting a friend’s family at the market, I discovered that most of our competitors were not too educated and so they had a weakness in the way they attended to customers or handled disputes with funny customers. I had to demonstrate some cultured behaviour which attracted customers. We looked cleaner than others. I was committed to the art of selling. I made sure anyone who bought from me came back and bought again and again.
Any serious marketer must be consistent. If your product is known for its spices. Never fail to keep the taste. No excuses about why it was this or that. If you want to succeed in anything, be consistent. If you are writer, never fail your readers because like it is said…the beautiful ones are not yet born. Many people are ready to play your game better than you.
